Purpose
Our purpose is to nurture young minds to be adaptable and to thrive now and into a sustainable future.
Our Objectives
• To provide holistic, age-appropriate support and development to previously disadvantaged children and the youth
• To produce productive impactful individuals that will venture to create a new sustainable world order
• To work collaboratively with relevant government departments, the private sector and civil society towards a better life for all.
how you can help
As an organization in a rural area, we work with children who do not have access to opportunities and experiences necessary to cope with the constantly evolving demands of the world of the 21st century. Therefore, we need assistance accessing experiential opportunities that will contribute to their growth and preparation for modern careers. We cater for children and youth of different age groups, starting from the age of 3 to 35 years. Umthommbo NPO would welcome any opportunities for voluntary work, donations (in kind or financial) as well as mentorship, training and internship assistance in relevant areas.
